Anurag Lingam

Lead UI/UX Developer

I started my CS journey way back in 2006 when I was still in school and stumbled into Gamemaker, an engine to make video games. Once I got hooked onto it, I never looked back. In spite of everyone advising me to get a degree in Medicine/Electronics, I chose to pick up a CS degree because I knew that was my calling.

I created this website to showcase my creative work, but subsequently turned it into my portfolio website. Here, I used some cutting edge CSS features - so much so that my own editor shows linter errors. So, to ensure a 100% smooth experience, please use the latest version of chrome with these flags enabled in chrome://flags:

  • CSS Masonry Layout
If you choose not to, you will still be able to use the site, but things might look a little ugly less pretty. This website doesn't use any JavaScript. Just pure CSS magic.

HTML
Since 2014
★★★★★

I'm very well-versed with HTML. Is there any quirk I'm not aware of? There's always a small chance.
CSS
Since 2014
★★★★★

CSS has massively improved over the years and I've mostly kept my knowledge up-to-date. But there are still a few things I need to stare at MDN for.
Javascript
Since 2016
★★★★★

I like to think I'm really good at core JS concepts. I started coding in JS in the era of monkey-patching prototypes, and since then, I've systematically studied new features all the way to the latest generator functions and Proxy objects.
React JS
Since 2017
★★★★★

I was a huge proponent for React when it freshly got its MIT license. I was so hooked that I wrote my own form-management library that utilized native form validations way better than the popular libraries online. Since the release of hooks, I haven't been particularly invested in React, but I still use it frequently.
Rust
Since 2024
★★★★★

I started learning Rust because it's the hot topic in the C++ community. Having started my programming path from C++, I really wanted to build something in Rust. Ultimately, I switched to Golang. I will still go back to learning Rust someday.
Golang
Since 2025
★★★★★

I learnt Golang for the sole purpose of building my own Media Library app for my personal Windows desktop. With liberal help of the docs, I managed to patch together a functioning app.

There are a few cool projects that I want to showcase here — I'm still working on this part. Check back in later!

In the meantime, you can take a look at my Codepen profile.
